Hello, I’m so glad you’re here! My embroidery journey started about 3 years ago when I came across a post on Instagram with just the most precious embroidered woodland animal ever. A few months later, I bought everything I’d need and got started.
My first project was a dishcloth embroidered with flowers as a birthday present for my sister. I honestly can’t remember what I embroidered next, but I know that I was hooked after that.
I love that something so simple can look so beautiful. It’s also usually quite small and you can take it with you to work on wherever you go, and it’s an idle enough task that you can still visit with others or watch a movie while you do it.
I recently went to a couple of Christmas markets and I had so much fun and it really inspired me to get even more involved in this little corner of the world. I would still consider myself a novice, but that being said, there’s no time like the present, so I’m starting this blog exactly where I’m at in the hopes of documenting my journey and maybe inspiring others along the way.
